Ecuador
We work in 4 sites in Ecuador. We work in close collaboration with partner organizations and clinics at each site, ensuring that our work is led and informed by local leaders.
Ecuadorian Amazon
The Ecuadorian Amazon is mainly rainforest and remains largely undeveloped. Populated by indigenous tribes with limited access to healthcare and clean water, we seek to improve access to healthcare through Medical Service Trips in Yasuni National Park, and support the development of WASH solutions in the Napo Province.
Quito, Ecuador
Quito is the capital of Ecuador, founded on the ruins of an Inca city. The level of care provided in public hospitals varies greatly. There can be periods due to budget constraints, when patients encounter issues accessing the required medication and specialized treatments. We seek to improve access to healthcare and health outcomes through Community Health Workers, Nutrition, and Medical Service Trips.
Santo Domingo, Ecuador
Santo Domingo is the fourth largest city in Ecuador—but it only has one public hospital available to its inhabitants. Here, we seek to improve access to healthcare through a local clinic, and support the development of WASH solutions.
Cotopaxi, Ecuador
Cotopaxi is a rural province in the Ecuadorian Andes Mountains near the Volcanic Crater of Quilotoa. Its capital city is Latacunga. Due to limited resources and poor infrastructure in the region, we seek to improve access to healthcare through Medical Service Trips, and support the development of WASH solutions.
