Timmy Global Health Medical Supply Warehouse
In line with our mission of expanding access to health care resources, Timmy utilizes its 5,000-square foot medical warehouse to broker medical supplies to free or subsidized clinics within the Indianapolis community, as well as other Indianapolis-based healthcare organizations working internationally. Supplies include wheelchairs, walkers, respiratory supplies, hygiene materials, simple surgical supplies, and much more. Timmy’s recent investments in the warehouse — including securing an intern and recruiting volunteers to enhance warehouse operations – are helping make the warehouse an important resource for health organizations in Indianapolis.
To Donate Supplies: If you are interested in making an in-kind donation to Timmy’s medical supply warehouse, please call in advance to notify us of your donation to ensure that we can accept your item(s). All items must be dropped off at our office located on 22 E. 22 Street– unfortunately, we are unable to pick-up items at your home, clinic, or office.
Please note that we are unable to accept any expired items. Due to the size and scope of our warehouse, we are unable to accept donations of large equipment, machines, hospital beds, etc. We greatly appreciate your consideration of our protocols!
To Receive Supplies: If you are affiliated with a clinic, church, home care company, etc. and are in need of free medical supplies for international trips or local patients, please send a wish list of the supplies you need to warehouse@timmyglobalhealth.org. If we have your items in stock, we will be in contact to set up a time for you to pick up your items. Due the new structure of our warehouse, we are unable to assist in pulling & distributing supplies unless given advance notice of your wish list. All items are distributed on a first come, first served basis in the original condition that they were donated to Timmy. Please note that the warehouse email currently gets checked two-three times a week, so we appreciate your patience when getting back to your inquiry.
If you are an individual in need of supplies, please have your social worker, clinic worker, therapist, or referring organization call or email us on your behalf. We ask that the person or organization calling on your behalf gives us advance notice of your needs because we may not have the specific supplies in stock at the time of your call.
Please note that Timmy can only donate items to organizations, clinics, registered home care nurses or social workers.

Medical Explorers Curriculum
Developed by Timmy Global Health’s founder, Dr. Chuck Dietzen, and several local science teachers and key members of Timmy’s network, the Medical Explorers Curriculum aims to heighten interest in science, specifically medicine, among high school-aged students. Because the program also incorporates case studies of real Timmy patients, it teaches important cultural lessons, global mindedness, and service to the poor. The unique program was successfully piloted several years ago and remains as a priority among Timmy’s local outreach. We hope to formally implement the Medical Explorers Curriculum in 10 Indianapolis high schools in the near future.
