What we do
Chuck Dietzen, MD, founder of Timmy Global Health, with Father José Carollo, founder of Fundación Tierra Nueva. Taken shortly before Father Carollo’s passing in 2005, both gentleman are pictured in front of what is now Tierra Nueva’s new 150-bed hospital. Timmy helped fund the construction project.
Timmy Global Health partners with like-minded international health organizations, complementing their work with additional human, in-kind, and financial resources to build their capacity and strengthen their outreach. And where possible, the foundation seeks to empower students, volunteers, and medical professionals to engage directly in global development and tackle today’s most pressing global health challenges first hand.
Recognizing that undeserved, low-income, and resource-poor communities face a wide variety of challenges, Timmy directs its resources to one of the most important — access to quality healthcare.
