Dear Friends of Timmy Global Health (formerly the Timmy Foundation):

For the last 15 years, Timmy Global Health has worked with our incredible network of students, medical professionals, volunteers, and international partners to transform the lives of families, communities, and patients both at home and abroad. What started in a hospital closet in Indianapolis now flourishes in four countries, dozens of developing world communities, and at more than 20 high schools and colleges in the United States. Whether in our medical clinics or on the campuses of Timmy’s students, Timmy has always been committed to utilizing our resources efficiently and effectively to build healthy futures worldwide. And in 2010-2011, we did it better than ever.

Today, I am proud to present to you Timmy’s 2010-2011 Annual Report. As the report details, 2010-2011 was a year of great progress for Timmy and the people we serve. During the last 12 months, we have expanded our outreach in Ecuador to include a new site in the Amazon basin, launched Timmy’s most ambitious public health projects to date in Guatemala, funded vital water and sanitation projects in Nigeria, put the finishing touches on a forthcoming partnership in the Dominican Republic, and continued to spread the power of Timmy’s student network across the United States. And we have done it all while continuing to dedicate an extraordinary amount of our resources – more than 92 % — to the programs that power our work.

As Timmy continues to transform lives around the world, we need your support. Your generosity in 2010-2011 helped us reach more people and communities than ever before. But even as we celebrate our successes, we are cognizant of how much more there is to do. As you plan your philanthropic giving during the final month of 2011, please keep Timmy in your thoughts. We promise to continue expanding access to healthcare while inspiring the next generation of leaders to tackle today’s global challenges, but we can’t do it without you.
